From leadership opportunities and academic achievements to college experiences, careers, and adventures beyond S.P.A., these weekly highlights offer an inside look at the many paths our students take during and after their time at Scottsdale Prep.
College Ambassadors will also contribute highlights each week, sharing the stories and accomplishments of their fellow Spartans.

S.P.A. Highlight: College Ambassadors
This week, we are highlighting our very own College Ambassadors who are a select group of student leaders who serve as an advisory board for the College Counseling Department. From Student to Teacher: Alumni Stories
For most students, graduation marks the end of their time at Scottsdale Prep. For five current faculty members (Mrs. Alofs, Ms. Arust, Ms. Carpenter, Mrs. Strader, and Mr. Strader) it eventually brought them back to the classrooms they once knew as students.
Each alum returned for a different reason, but their stories share a common thread which is a deeper appreciation for their Scottsdale Prep education.
Sophomore Jackson Day Climbs to the National Stage
From local competitions to the national stage, Jackson is continuing to make his mark in the world of competitive climbing.

Girls State: Emmy Stanek and Morgan Everton
This week, we’re celebrating Seniors Emmy Stanek and Morgan Everton, who represented Scottsdale Prep at Arizona Girls State! The weeklong leadership and citizenship program challenged them to step outside their comfort zones and explore government, civic engagement, and public service. Morgan was elected to three leadership positions, while Emmy served as a Superior Court Judge in a mock trial. We’re proud of both Spartans for embracing this opportunity to learn, lead, and grow!
